Mount Pleasant - Spec Home

We have been busy constructing our brand-new Spec Home which will soon be presented for sale. Have a read below on some of the features of this beautiful home.



We decided to dig down and create a semi-undercroft garage which could accommodate 6 cars and also be used for other purposes such as a gym. Being that we created a semi-undercroft this also had the huge benefit of natural light into the space which isn’t usually possible in these types of garages. We have also included an EV charging point and modern LED lighting throughout the garage. Being that the home was to be a 3-storey home we found it essential to include a lift for easier access around the home including down into the garage. We have used an insulated garage door to increase the thermal qualities of the garage.  

When entering the home you are greeted by a large 3m x 1.4m entry door and once you enter and come into the home there is a double height stair void with a large 6.5m high double glazed stair window. We incorporated a steel stringer staircase with custom made Tasmanian Oak stair treads. The main floor is tiled with beautiful large 1200x600 Italian porcelain tiles. On the ground floor is where you will find the main living areas with an extensive kitchen that sweeps around into a scullery area. The use of Ceasor Stone Porcelain bench tops and splash backs make a beautiful statement. We have also included a bar display area which accommodates all types of drink options and we have included a Zip tap for the home owners convenience. Although the façade of the home is modern we felt that there was no reason we couldn’t blend the modern aspect of the home with some more traditional detailed finishes such as large colonial style cornices and skirtings through out the home. These detailed finishes have a huge impact on the overall feel of the home which was really important to us. From the main living area you step out through the double glazed stacker doors and are greeted by a private courtyard alfresco area which incorporates a full outdoor kitchen and a feature polished plaster ceiling overhead. The ground floor also houses the second master bedroom suite which gives the new home owner the option to live upstairs or downstairs.

Upstairs you will find the remaining 3 bedrooms which makes this home a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom with a 6 car garage. With the laundry on the lowest level we have installed a laundry chute from the top floor. We have included smart switching throughout which will give the home owner the ability to have certain lighting set to come on with a timer or simply turn lights on and off through the use of an app. The home is fully air conditioned with separate internal units used to maximise the efficiency of the units. With security being a very important part of the modern home we have included a security camera system along with a home alarm and intercom system. We have used double glazed windows and doors throughout the home to help with the energy efficiency and there is also a roof top solar system that has been installed. The master bedroom suite features a large custom made walk in robe which is effectively lit by the use of LED lighting. Walking through the upper floor sitting room you will find a pleasant surprise. As our goal was to make the most of every space and given the homes prestige location next to the river we saw the opportunity for an open top roof deck with BBQ area and 360 degree views which include the river and hills. This bonus 4th level of home is the perfect entertaining areas and we have installed LED strip lighting around the perimeter to make this even better at night.

From the street there are many eye catching features like the double height Accoya timber feature wall and the counter levered external polished plaster ceiling which is lit with perimeter LED lighting which also extends down the wall vertically over the driveway. We have also made use of LED garden lighting to make this home even more inviting at night. With the garden being in the front this home is the perfect easy maintenance home. This home certainly has beautiful kerb side appeal and is packed full of features.
