    Inglewood Home Extension

Clarke Custom Homes has recently completed another quality home extension in Inglewood. This home is heritage listed and whilst the home has many of the modern features that you would come to expect, thought was given to maintaining the charm of the old home and many of the original features were brought through into the new part of the home. This combined to make a seem less blend from old to new. #clarkecustomhomes #heritagehome #extension

Turn Underused Space Into a Valuable Extension

The existing home was being underused in the front half of the building so Clarke Custom Homes devised a plan to utilise the wasted space. It involved opening the front of the house up with a new bi-fold door which came out onto a new front deck that adjoined the new fully enclosed grassed play area for the client's children. This project also included a new kitchen which was extended, a large internal living area which opens up to meet the new front deck, a new master bedroo

Taking it to the Next Level with Affordable Second Storey Options

This project began in early March and was finished mid-April 2017. It took under 35 days to complete the job, which was important to the client who continued living in the house during construction. The project involved designing a staircase that would sit comfortably in the existing house whilst giving access to the new living area upstairs. This style of extension is very popular for couples that have a growing family and want to create some additional space for themselves.

Loft Conversions Can Add Big Value

Having previously done a garage extension a few years ago, returning clients asked Clarke Custom Homes build a new loft area. There was no space in the existing house for a staircase so a small extension was built to accommodate the new stairs. The new loft was substantial measuring around 10m long by 5 m across and with plenty of headroom the loft was built inside the existing roof space. The loft was split into a new home office and an additional living area. This is a grea

    From House to Dream Home

This project began in late January 2016 and was handed over in early April 2016, 29 days ahead of schedule. It involved adding a new double garage with store room, a new master bedroom with ensuite, a new main bathroom and living area. This was all done whilst the owners were able to live in another part of the house. Clarke Custom Homes was able to add this substantial addition to this property and make it seem as though it was always there, blending the old with the new.

    Making Old New Again

Completed at the end of 2014, this home extension turned a pokey 1970’s house into a modern and spacious home for a growing family. Clarke Custom Homes added a living room, theatre, entrance hall, alfresco and a new double garage with a store room. There was even enough roof space to create a storage attic. Our team was able to protect the existing house from being damaged while replacing the entire ceiling and changing the roof cover from tiles to a new colorbond roof. The

    Clients Like Cost Effective Designs

This project began in November 2013 and the owners were able to move in by April 2014. This project was to turn a 1960’s 2x1 house into a modern 5x3 family home, with multiple living areas. Although some of the existing house was demolished the foundations and most of the exterior brickwork was retained and the additions were custom designed around the existing structure to save on costly earthworks and brickwork. Clarke Custom Homes came up with a spacious design that would
